Band Score Calculator This calculator converts correct answers (out of 40) into approximate band score (out of 9). It helps you to know what would be your band score according to a sample test. This calculator is based on the new scoring system put in place in July 2007, using half and whole band score. Overall Band Score is the result of the average of these 4 scores which has been rounded to the nearest whole or half band.
